ERM History

1959-1960
In 1959, Bill Obins and his team founded E.R. Dock. The business earned its first dollar in 1960 and quickly became known as a full-service marina. E.R. Dock was an authorized Johnson motor dealer and offered a complete repair shop. They also provided boat storage and a selection of rental boats for those looking to enjoy a leisurely day on the water.

1972
In 1972, E.R. Dock was sold to a buyer from Chicago. After encountering some challenges, he sold the business, and by the following season, new ownership came from California. The new owner expanded the dock facilities and shifted the focus toward becoming a fishing dock. While boat storage remained a service, the repair shop was discontinued.

1994-now
Since 1960, our boat storage capacity has more than doubled. Over the years, the marina has changed ownership four times, evolving from its original name to Eagle Rock Landing and eventually becoming what it is today—Eagle Rock Marina. The Kings took over in 1994, then in 2005 the King brothers took over and still own the marina to this day. They renovated the dock to it's new glory in 2014. Our boat rental offerings have also shifted over time, moving from primarily fishing boats to a fleet focused on leisure and comfort, including pontoons and other pleasure craft.

ERM Values
Eagle Rock Marina was built on the foundation of a family-friendly atmosphere. From the beginning, the vision was to create a place where families could return generation after generation. That commitment to a welcoming, fun, and relaxed environment is what has kept our customers coming back year after year.

Our Future
Under the new ownership of the King brothers and the guidance of a new manager, there’s a fresh vision for growth, including plans for additional boat slips. While the marina continues to evolve, the original spirit of family and fun remains at its core. It's our commitment to great service, friendly staff, and memorable experiences that keeps customers coming back year after year.
